from cover to cover
After a few more scribbles and a bit of direction it was clear that the BRIC (Brazil, Russia, India and China) series was going to stay the course.
That meant we were going to need some professional illustrations.
Having decided against the friend and family options and in the true spirit of the BRICS I commissioned a talented India artist, Tanya Gupta to illustrate the first ebook series, the spring series.
in case you are wondering , it's called the spring series because each book takes place when Hadari & Ora are in that country over spring time and it so happened that some of the best festivities take place around that time, be it pancake week in Russia, Carnival in Brazil, Holi in India or lunar new year in China.
..but first we began with the cover pictures for the spring series, below you can see the first drafts of what is to become the jnrMBA iconic brand

journey begins
The jnrMBA brand begins with a few taps on a keyboard by the author and some pencil strokes from an artist.
I wanted to chronicle this birth of an icon from its earliest inception and track its progress throughout the journey to revolutionize how hard charging mom's and dads interact with their kids.
This was not the first picture however, that was a simple sketch on an iPad which as you can see below, is a little more in line with my artistic abilities.
